Let's Start Paper Crafting!

Hello!!! Welcome to the start of an incredible journey creating paper crafting projects!!

I began crafting years ago (like in elementary school), but decided in 2013 to begin learning and fine tuning my skills. As a teacher and continuing my education, I had limited time to enjoy paper crafting.  I know many of you can relate. Raising a family, working, and taking kiddos to their events oftentimes, I found myself crawling into bed thinking about what needs to be done the next day.

I found that even though I did not have time to create my own pieces, I was often inspired by another person’s work and found great pride in using the crafting kits. You don’t have to know everything to get started.  There are lots of inspriational ideas and how to techniques available to learn.

What You Need To Get Started

Stamps

Ink

Paper

Creating an idea with a stamp set has endless possiblities.  Whether the stamps are wood mount, cling, or photopolymer, each one creates a beautiful card.  Whatever the occasion, there is a special card ready to create.

Using ink on your stamp is where your inspiration becomes reality.  There are a variety of ink colors to choose from as well as color mediums.  Choose from ink pads, markers, and alcohol markers to create your projects.

Putting the ink to paper is where the magic begins.  There are a variety of paper colors and designs to start.  Start with a card base and add a panel or even multiple panels.  I like to think of the paper as the frame to my stamps.

With these supplies, you’ll be able to create any greeting card or home decor to enjoy for yourself or for others to enjoy.  Your creation is only limited to your imagination.
