Spirited Snowman!

I love how this holiday card turned out!!  This stamp set, “Spirited Snowman” is such a cute set.  There are several snowman stamps included in the set along with some background stamps like the snowflakes.  I decided to use the snowflake background stamps to stamp directly on the card in soft sky.

NOTE: Soft Sky is a recently retired color.  I decided to use this color to deplete my supply.  A similar current color is Balmy Blue, which will also look amazing for this winter scene.

This snowflake stamp provided a nice background for the jolly snowman on ice.  I also used holiday ink colors: Real Red and Call me Clover on the hat, scarf, leaves, and berries.  Other ink colors included smoky slate, pumpkin pie, soft suade, and pool party to highlight the skates, buttons, carrot nose, branches, and some shading to bring this snowman to life. When I had the Stampin’ blends to color, I used these first.  Using these markers you can do more shading.  He is such a cute snowman!!

I decided to stamp the inside panel with a flurry of snowflakes falling from the top of the card.  You could also place the snowflakes at the bottom, as the snow begins to pile up. Either way for this panel would be great!

I also added a holiday sentiment in real red ink.  Using the stamparatus to stamp the sentiments makes each panel easy and perfectly stamped.

I finished off this card with a coordinating enveloped stamped with the same snowflake background stamp using Soft Sky. Taking a few extra minutes to embellish an envelope is easy to do when you have the stamps and inks out.

I hope you enjoyed this fun card!! I have the card recipe posted for you to create your own designs.  If you’d like to purchase this card, visit my online SHOP on this site for this card and a variety of other items.

Have a blessed holiday season!!
