Create a Braided Fold

I first saw this technique on a cute card shared by a stamping friend in a technique class when I was a new demonstrator in 2013.  She recently made a card with this technique.  I had forgotten about this fold technique, but it is certainly one I wanted to recreate.  Since I needed a card with a fancy fold for my monthly Alaska card swap, I thought this would be a perfect fit!  Check out the entire card below!

I choose to work with the Hand-Penned Petals designer series paper because I absolutely love, love, love the colors and flowers in this set!  The colors include Blushing Bride (a favorite), Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, Misty Moonlight, and Mint Macaron.  These colors pair quite well together.  Add on top of this the spring and summer season, yep, this is the designer series paper for my fancy fold technique card!
